Is it safe to take the 14 day Acai Berry Cleanse while taking Metformin?

I am not on metformin for diabetes or anything…its more of the opposite (to help with insulin resistance and lower DHEAS in my system which may be causing PCOS). I currently take 1,000 mg 2x/day.

I bought this 14 day Acai Berry Cleanse over the counter at Walmart. It’s one of those things that is supposed to help get rid of the extra "sludge" in your digestive system and colon. It is all natural. I’ve tried the detox foot pads, and they make me feel good, but they don’t remove everything from your system. I am hoping to take these cleansing pills to feel better and less sluggish and bloated.

I have heard great things about these things…is it safe to take it with Metformin? (I also take allergy medicine and Lovaza, but it shouldn’t cause any problems- its only a high dose fish oil).

i want to take it cause i have a lot of fat on my body and it looks bloated, im 15 years old, is that okay to take it? how come it says Step 1: Cleanse Now. Step 2: Detox Now.

im in a competition with some of my family members to lose the most weight by christmas. the winner gets 0—-and i REALLY want to win it b/c im saving up for a new car. there arent any rules, so we can use pills, or even go to extremes and have surgery for it. lol. but i heard that the acai berry/colon cleanse thing works, but i wanna make sure……so does it?
and i already am eating less and dieting more….but i just want to know if it actually works

I’m already extremely healthy and active, but feel (with several xmas parties coming up) a week long detox will do me some good. I’m stocked up on organic fruit & veg, green tea, and acai berry juice!

the plastic sheath which sit outside on the powder, you take it off?
or should it swallow it as a pill?

I have ordered Acai Berry as I have heard that it is great for detoxing your body and giving you energy.

There is this one called the Acai Berry 14-day Cleanse which is loaded with anti oxidants. Would that be safe? What about a 48 hr. cleanser?
